Gratings are produced according to DIN 24537 standards, but are still subject for custom individual orders. Stainless steel gratings can be made as full, pressed and louvered. The range of load-bearing flat bars can be from 20 x 2[mm] up to 200 x 12 [mm] and the gap between flat bars can vary from 11.1[mm] to 133.2 [mm]. Pressed gratings can be manufactured slip resistant. We also supply stair threads according to DIN 24531 using pressed gratings.
Stainless grating
Choosing the right steel depends on the environment in which the grating will be used. An accurate description of the chemical factors allows you to choose the right type of steel that has a decisive influence on resistance, corrosion and price. The most popular stainless steel grades for gratings:
1.4307 (AISI 304L)
1.4404 (AISI 316L)
Gratings pressed
Pressed gratings are made up of load-bearing and transverse flat bars. The measurements for load-bearing bars can range from 20×2 to 50×4. The possible bar measurements are available in a chart below. Pressed gratings can be made resistant to slippage with serrated surfaces. Pressed gratings are usually framed by flat bars. The bar lenght and width are decide between the distributor and the client, but they should not exeed 1500 [mm] in length and 1500 [mm] in width.
It’s recommended that the gratings superficial area would not exeed 1.5 m2.

Gratings louvered
Louvered gratings consist of a flat load-bearing bar, that’s height is 20-50 [mm] and width is 2-3 [mm]. The transverse bars have identical dimensions and they are angled at 45 degrees towards the load-bearing bars.

Full gratings
The full gratings consist of load-bearing(support) bars with the height dimensions 20-200 mm and width 2-12 mm . The transverse bars have the same measuremnts. The gratings with all of their measurements are displayed below in the illustration. Full gratings are ussually framed by bars.

It is possible to make stairs according to individual needs of customers. Custom stair treads may have different dimensions than listed below or can be made with different gratings produced by our company.
